Cliff likens himself to a Chinese Gordon Ramsey when he tells me that it isn't just food that he serves, the food is himself, it is his expression of how food should be enjoyed and presented in a way that makes him proud to serve it. He says he would never "serve any bloody muck", and I laugh as I see that he truly is, the Chinese Gordon Ramsey, with a great sense of humour to boot.

His passion for what he does and how he does it, and his desire to bring to New Zealand the best of what he can offer from his years of Chef Training in Hong Kong, and a lifetime of passion for food, make Dragon Express a place you must visit and experience.

The restaurant staff includes specialists in a range of dishes that you will struggle to find elsewhere, as well as Cliff himself who has devoted his life to preparing and presenting Chinese food to his own strict standards.
